The Omnipod® 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System is a tubeless insulin pump designed to make diabetes management simpler, smarter, and more convenient. This Intro Kit provides everything needed to start using the Omnipod 5 system, combining wearable insulin pods with intelligent automation when paired with a compatible continuous glucose monitor.
Unlike traditional insulin pumps, Omnipod 5 has no tubing and delivers insulin through small pods that attach directly to the body. Each pod can automatically adjust insulin delivery every 5 minutes based on real-time glucose readings from Dexcom G6 or Dexcom G7, helping reduce highs and lows while supporting more stable glucose control throughout the day and night.
The system is controlled using the included Omnipod 5 Controller (PDM), allowing users to manage insulin delivery, deliver meal boluses, and view glucose data easily from one device.
